With the help of a friend and a few hours time, we created some really great homemade pizza that rivaled or beat anything we could have bought. Cheesy Popcorn
To all those close to me (and many who attempt to stay away from me), I am known as a popcorn fiend. Perhaps it is a sign of a deep calling within me to become a corn farmer, or perhaps it is just because I'm a salty food snacker. Regardless, I'm always looking for new and exciting ways to make popcorn. And what can be more perfect than combining popcorn with cheese?

French Onion Soup
It looks like a bowl full of cheesy bread, but it's oh so much more. Under its cheesy top lies a delicious bowl of french onion soup. It is hard to resist its wonderfully sweet and complex flavor. It makes for a weird summer dish, but sometimes it's hard to resist a good soup!

French Dip Sandwiches with Caramelized Onions
I've had all kinds of french dip sandwiches over the years. They can be as simple as sliced lunch meat roast beef on bread with beef bouillon au jus to much fancier, like I'm doing here. Yet, I still consider this to be a lazy recipe through the magic of the slow cooker.
